Why Exhibit at the show
I could write loads here!!!!
Basically eight years ago Wales didn't have a boat show and not many people would of taken or believed how amazing the water sports in Wales were! After six years of continually working at putting the last four shows on in South Wales and the Last two in North Wales I honestly believe there are not many folks left in the U. K. watersports world who don't know about Wales as a venue for water sports now. I am immensely proud of what we have all achieved in the time we have been working and will strive to develop the show in the future.
Moving the South Wales Show to SA1 was not a move I've taken lightly but as we draw closer to the opening of the show its very clear we have made a good move, exhibitor numbers are at an all time high with over 200 companies attending the show. The advantages of being Quay side is a massive bonus and believe with the help of W.A and Swansea Council in the future the show will grow in stature further.
Over the years we have used the same formula of bringing together all aspects of water sports, and even more family orientated entertainment to keep all members of the family entertained to retain people in the show. At the close of the last show (2009) we had fantastic feed back despite the climate from an overwhelming number of exhibitors who collectively grossed over £1.7M of sales, way exceeding our expectations. In the last four years the shows have sold over £6m worth of craft and equiptment.Again we are delighted to confirm our continue sponsorship for national marketing support of National Boat Shows, Tourism Swansea Bay, the massive regional Radio advertising support of Real Radio, and I.P.C. P.B.O Essential Reading for all Cruising Sailors again have promised to support us with national marketing across the marine industry in the U.K. We are also would like to thank CSL Publishing who produce a number of Marine publications such as Sports Boat & Rib magazine, Boat Mart, All at Sea and Boat & Yacht buyer as a sponsor who exhibited with us last year, and Several Marine publications and national and local newspapers who will also be running features and adverts in the lead up to the show. We have also had prime time Television news and feature coverage from G.M.T.V., HTV Wales and S4C and Channel 4 which increases the shows exposure to a huge audience all over Wales. Support and interest in the 5th South wales show and for the 3rd North Wales show is already intense and can only increase in the next few months, so if you want to pre book stand space at the show download the booking form on the exhibitors pages.
The South Wales Boat show is ideally situated. SA1 is only minutes away from Junction 42 of the M4 and between Cardiff and Carmarthen and Swansea and is only about 80 minutes away from Bristol, Haverford west and Fishguard. There is also the new Irish Ferry running in to the dock right next to the show!
You may already know, South Wales prides itself on a large contingent of Marinas, Sailing Schools and clubs ranging from dinghy to yacht racing. There has been an explosion of water born activities in South Wales since the Cardiff bay re- development and with a vast cash injection being spent in Haverford west, Swansea and Milford Haven marinas expanding along with the new regeneration of Swansea Docks in SA1 which will make it one of the biggest marinas in the UK!! Amazingly a recent survey has quoted Wales having the highest percentage of the population having a watersport interest than any where else in the UK !!! Lets Bring it on!!
